2 Paragraphs: This unit we made kites, we made four different kites. The first one we made was a pre set up package that we put together so we could see what works. For the second kite we were given a plastic bag and some bamboo sticks so we could put together our own kites from scratch. We went with a sled kite because we figured the parallelogram shape would fly better but because our bridle wasn’t put on evenly our kite didn’t have an even flight. So for our third kite we tried a box kite, this kite ended up being too heavy and there wasn’t enough wind for it to take off. I think it would’ve flown if there was more wind. For out fourth and final kite we decided to go with what we call a bat kite, it has a curved shape but the bottom is jagged. We took a lot of time to make this kite because we wanted it to work better than the rest of our kites. We used the trial and error method to make our kite have the best flight possible. We took our kite to fly it and figured out what it needed to fly and we took it in to fix it until it had the best flight possible.
